Where I stand on protecting Chatham’s environment.

As a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals, I have evaluated projects with careful attention to the environmental impacts of each application. The Zoning Board of Appeals criteria includes consideration of the impact on the natural environment, including slopes, vegetation, wetlands, groundwater water bodies and storm water runoff. Limiting impervious surface coverage and protecting our waterways has always been important to me. I will bring the same forward looking approach to the Select Board balancing public health, growth, and environmental protection. Our community depends on practical, proactive, and sustainable strategies to protect water quality, preserve coastal habitats, and safeguard the environment for future generations.
