Where I stand on the Residential Tax Exemption.

As the Select Board considers whether to adopt, defer, or modify the Residential Tax Exemption, I will focus on one question: Does this policy meaningfully support a stable year round population? This policy needs to be thought through before any final decision is made.

There are many interested parties performing additional research on the topic. I would like to review the results and ensure that this Exemption will meet the intended goals before expressing a definitive opinion.
