Center for Active Living (COA)
Chatham’s seniors deserve a community center that meets their needs—safe, comfortable, and welcoming. The existing building is inadequate, and planned renovations will provide modern, professional spaces for programs, activities, and services that residents have been waiting for.
I support the renovation project, including the additional $500,000 being considered this year, and I commend the town staff, volunteers, and professionals who have worked carefully to plan these improvements.
My focus is on ensuring accountability and transparency—residents should know how funds are used, and that projects are executed efficiently. We can provide top-notch accommodations while respecting taxpayer interests.
Investing in the COA is an investment in Chatham’s largest and most active population, and it’s part of sustaining a vibrant, inclusive community.
